At the heart of our school is an absolute determination to ensure every child achieves their full potential in an inspiring learning environment. It is a place where ‘imagination and aspiration merge with determination’. Our dedicated team of teachers work tirelessly to ensure that our children are inspired to aspire and provided with the learning attitudes, skills and knowledge to thrive in the current world we live in.
I would be delighted to personally show you around our wonderful school so that you can experience this unique atmosphere for yourself.

Welcome to the Village Prep School! We are a beautiful, boutique school located in Belsize Park. At the Village Prep, girls are nurtured in small classes surrounded by exceptional facilities including a Creative Lab, adventure playground and theatre.
Beyond the outstanding facilities, it is our family ethos which is most apparent from the moment you step foot into our school. Children are excited and passionate to share their learning experiences knowing that all they have to say is truly valued.
Staff go above and beyond to ensure that every member of the Village family feels welcomed. Every teacher knows every child by name and personality and this makes for an incredibly special atmosphere.
The Lower School girls have been learning all about the Maasai tribes of Kenya and Tanzania, and the similarities and differences between traditional and modern living. As part of their cross-curricular learning, the girls wrote questions that they would ask a Maasai to help gain a greater understanding of their way of life.
It was such a special treat to finish the week with a video call with Semer – a real Maasai warrior – and ask him their burning questions! To top it all off, the girls learnt to play Bao – a traditional East African board game.
What an amazing opportunity for the Lower School – a real honour and privilege to be able to speak to Semer, and something the girls will never forget. Thank you so much to Miss Sloane for making it possible!

Third Form added a personal touch to @thevillageprepschool values this morning, reflecting on what each one means to them. A perfect opportunity for collaboration, and finding creative ways to make them visible to others.
We are kind, respectful, safe… we listen, we respect each other. 🥰 💫

A joyous afternoon adding a riot of colour to the wonderfully crafted ceramic birds that the Middle School made so carefully last week. Even Mr Mo couldn't resist getting involved… and in a picture! 😂🖌️🎨🐦😍

The Pre-Prep class were super lucky this week to receive a visit from Florence's Mummy to teach them all about keeping their teeth clean and healthy. The girls now know that they should be cleaning their teeth for 2 minutes, twice a day… a good reminder for us all! The visit ended with a game where the girls were asked to decide which food has LOTS of sugar and which food had LESS. 🦷🪥
It's always so wonderful to welcome parents and/or family members to the school to share their experiences and expertise, so thank you Florence's mum!

Smiley faces all round after a fab fixture in the sunshine against @stm1884 this afternoon!
With each match the girls are gaining confidence in their performance, but also their ability to identify what went well and areas for improvement. Well done, ladies!

Such a fab trip to @zsllondonzoo today for the Upper I class!
Inspired by their topic, Amazing Africa, Year 1 went on an exploration to discover the African animals in the zoo. The girls were tasked with writing lots of fabulous adjectives and adverbs to describe the animals and their movements, which will then be used to create their own poetry in English.
A fun and happy day all round! 🐅 🐯 🦁 🐧
