Very little beats coffee, cake and a chat first thing in the morning, however the added incentive of raising money for Macmillan Cancer makes it that little bit more special… whilst providing a perfect excuse to gobble a few more treats!
We were thrilled to be able to welcome parents on site for our Macmillan Coffee Morning. A firm favourite in the calendar, treats are baked (some possibly bought!) by The Village Prep staff, and the morning always provides the perfect opportunity for a good catch up post Summer. Mrs Reilly Bolsom’s savoury filled croissants were a big hit as usual – she even had pre-orders! – and Miss MacDonald wowed with some appropriately shaped star shortbread. Needless to say, the girls were happy to oblige in eating all the treats on offer – all in the name of charity – and a wonderful morning was had by all. We raised almost £500 which is a true testament to the generosity and support of our Village community. A huge thank you!
